Application Process – How to Apply for the Legacy Homes Program (LHP) Rental Housing

Phase 1

Qualification for LHP Programs and Properties

  1. Complete an LHP application.
  2. Meet with the LHP Program Coordinator/Whitefish Housing Authority (WHA)
  3. Applicant will be placed on waitlist
  4. Eligibility Criteria is verified: Income, Priority Placement, Household Size

Phase 2

Steps to Becoming an LHP Renter

  1. Link new renters with property managers
  2. Property managers qualify for lease
  3. Applicant enters into a lease agreement with property manager
